Surfers Paradise, QLD, Australia (Novemeber 10th 2006) -- Ohana Games, improves their award winning game Music Challenge and until the end of November 2006 they are selling Music Challenge for half price. About Music Challenge
Join Gina on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. Prepare for her to stretch your knowledge of your own music collection. Answering quickly & correctly earns maximum points. Get all the questions right and double your points! It becomes more taxing in the later rounds as you're given less time, but the points you could earn here make it worthwhile.
Your Music, Your Game; Music Challenge seamlessly integrates with Apple's iTunes to access your music. Also features an option for choosing custom folders which enable Music Challenge to use music from other media players including iPods. Music Challenge is able to automatically pause and resume iTunes if you were listening to music before playing Music Challenge.
Improvements in detail
The enhanced iPod support in Music Challenge not only improves the speed at which Music Challenge can access music on the iPod, but also it helps it read songs that caused problems in the previous version. "The support for iPods has helped make Music Challenge a winner, as it has provided people with an easy way to play a Music Challenge type game while storing all their music on their iPods.".
The Macintosh version of Music Challenge has been updated to take advantage of Apple's fast graphics technology called CoreGraphics, this update has throughly improved the overall feel and responsiveness of the game. CoreGraphics provides graphics routines that are up to 10x faster than previous graphics technology. More Information regarding CoreGraphics can be found at Apple's web site http://www.apple.com.
The most requested feature was to have the ability to adjust the volume of the sound effects and/or the music within Music Challenge, this allows people to adjust the volumes to suit them.
Universal Binaries, Music Challenge is now a Universal Binary, which means that you can run the same application on either a PowerPC or Intel based Macintosh and have the best performance available, the biggest bonus is to users who already own an Intel based Macintosh or are looking to purchase one.
